Saturday April 1

I learned a fun fact this weekend: Dayton was founded on April 1st, 1796 by 12 settlers known as the Thompson Party. They traveled in March from Cincinnati up the Great Miami and landed near what is now St. Clair St. Cool! To celebrate, Jimmie’s Ladder 11 is hosting a April Ship of Fools Dayton Birthday Party. They are local beers and spirits, as well as Dayton’s Great Northern String Band. Music starts at 10pm. $5 cover for the show.
