South of town, jazz fans have booked up all the tables at Blue Note Bistro to see Duante Beddingfield and the Randy Villars Trio . Although all tables are already reserved there is a full bar downstairs and a bar in the lounge upstairs. Fans of Duante’s do not be deterred! Show is from 8:30-11:30pm.
Heading east of town, there is a funky show happening out at One Eyed Jacks in Fairborn. Bill Kurzenberger will start off the night with a solo set at 9pm, followed by The Mainline Funk and The Happy Little Trees, who are coming all the way from Michigan. Another free show! Enjoy it! 18+
Out in Yellow Springs, Peach’s is serving up another fun night of music with GoodnightGoodnight and Echo Mecca. This will be Echo Mecca’s debut in the Springs, so do make sure to check them out, especially if you are local. 9pm. No cover. 21+
In Englewood, you can find Krunk Town Boogie, The Pullouts, and The High Notes all performing at the Courtyard Lounge. This will be a good time, especially if you’re already out in that neck of the woods! I’m from Brookville originally, so I particularly love when bands travel out to this area. We need music too! $5 Cover. 21+
Last but certainly not least, there is a quite the party going down at Taffy’s in Eaton for local singer / songwriter Moriah Haven‘s birthday. They are celebrating 1920’s style, with music by Emily Ash and Benjamin Thomas, and a potluck dinner! Feel free to bring a dish to share. Fun starts at 8pm! (and Happy Birthday Moriah!)
As always, thank you for supporting live music!
